About the Journal
The Student Journal of Technology and Educational Research (SJTER) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to showcasing the research outputs of Teacher Education students, including its allied fields. The journal covers a wide range of disciplines including Language and Literature, Mathematics, Social Studies, Early Childhood, Elementary, and Higher Education, Technology and Livelihood Education, and Physical Education, and other related fields.
SJTER aims to feature outstanding student research that reflects emerging trends, foundational principles, innovative practices, experimental approaches, methodologies, and literacy in education.
The journal aims to contribute to the broader academic discourse and promote development within the academic community through student-led research.
SJTER is published bi-annually by the ISU Desktop Publishing.
Current Issue
Volume 2, Issue 1 (2025) of SJTER presents a diverse mix of empirical studies and applied‑research articles that reflect contemporary concerns in education, technology, and vocational/training contexts. The issue includes investigations into topics such as students’ language learning strategies and motivation, leadership qualities among student‑leaders, differences in classroom engagement when using traditional vs. holographic display‑based settings, and the use of generative AI tools to support academic writing.
It also features applied‑research on vocational and technical training, analyses of students’ academic choices, and studies assessing reading skills, financial literacy among teachers, and employability readiness from senior‑high school work‑immersion programs.
